Torino – Milan

We are heading to the city of Turin, where on Sunday night Torino will host Milan in a match from the 34th round of the Italian Serie A. Let’s have a look.

Torino are having a very good season so far under the management of the experienced Walter Mazzarri. Right now the Bulls are 7th in the league with 53 points, but even with some chances to finish 4th and play in the Champions League next season. Right now the difference between them and the 4th Milan is just 3 points, so for them this is a terrific chance to close this gap.

Since the beginning of the campaign, Torino have a record of 13 wins, 14 draws and only 6 losses. The manager Walter Mazzarri managed to build a squad which is pretty difficult to beat. In their last five games in the league the Bulls are unbeaten, winning twice and doing three draws.

In their last match Torino visited Genoa and achieved a very important 1-0 win. The only goal was scored during the second half, when Cristian Ansaldi put the ball in Ionu Radu’s net.

In the same time Milan are 4th in the league with 56 points, but their inconsistent form could force them out of the Top 4. In their last five games the Rossoneri only won one game, doing two draws and suffering two losses.

Milan’s last game ended with a dissapointing 1-1 draw during the visit to Parma. Samu Castillejo opened the score for the visitors in the second half, but the veteran Bruno Alves equaised for Parma after a great free kick just three minutes before the end of the game.

That’s what happens with Torino and Milan before their clash at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin on Sunday evening. This could be a very important match in the fight for the Top 4.
