Serie A – Milan-Hellas Verona

AC Milan hosts Hellas Verona at the Stadio San Siro in a game from the 22th round of the Serie A.

The positive change in Milan is a fact now – the Rossoneri are in a run of three consecutive wins in the Serie A. We don’t know the particular reason for this – maybe it’s Stefano Pioli’s work, but maybe it’s the arrival of an inspiring figure like Zlatan Ibrahimovic. And maybe it’s both of them.

Milan’s rise started with a win against Cagliari, which was followed by two more wins against Udinese and Brescia. After these three wins the Rossoneri are now 8th in the league with 31 points and they can easily reach the Top 6 very soon.

During the week Milan had a game in Coppa Italia and it was pretty dramatic. The Rossoneri faced Torino at the San Siro and progressed in the competition after 2-2 in the regular time and 4-2 after extra time.

This week Milan said goodbye to three of their players. Krzysztof Piatek, Suso and Ricardo Rodgiguez were all sold to other clubs.

Hellas Verona are having a positive season at the moment as they are in the Top 10 of the league, being 9th. Verona’s shape right now is great – they are unbeaten in the last five matches, managing to win three of them.

Last week Hellas Verona hosted Lecce at home and enjoyed a solid 3-0 win. Pawel Dawidowicz, Matteo Pessina and Giampaolo Pazzini from a penalty kick scored for the hosts.

This game between AC Milan and Hellas Verona looks very interesting, because both teams are in their best form for the season so far. This means that we shall expect a really intriguing clash at the San Siro on Sunday. Can the Rossoneri make it four in a row? It won’t be easy.
