Liverpool are looking dead serious of winning the Premier League this season. In 12 games played so far, the Reds achieved 11 wins and only made one draw. They are still unbeaten. Right now the European champions are 8 points ahead of the second Manchester City, which is giving them a solid advantage in the title race. Based on their performance so far, Liverpool are the red hot favourite of winning the league.
Last week Jurgen Klopp’s boys hosted the champion Manchester City at the Etihad and achieved an important 3-1 win. After 51 minutes of playing Liverpool already had a three goal lead, thanks to the strikes of Fabinho, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. In the 78th minute Bernardo Silva scored one for City, but this was everything the visitors had to offer on that day.
Jurgen Klopp has some problems before the visit to Crystal Palace. The Egyptian star Mohamed Salah and the left back Andrew Robertson are mising the game because of injuries.
Crystal Palace are 12th in the league standings right now with 15 points won. Their record in the league goes like this: 4 wins, 3 draws and 5 losses. They started the campaign good, but lately their form was concerning.
